Pick up new 1:3 vocab list. Translate handouts. Create a Loteria Chart. Find one picture for the vocab word you were assigned. Both due tomorrow.

We worked in groups to translate dialog script between Francisco and Alma. We will finish it tomorrow.

We reviewed for tomorrow's exam. All classwork, workbook and loteria sheets were collected. 

We played "La Regla"  the Ruler, Loteria and corrected homework to review for test. Test review guide was written on board outlining concepts to study for exam.

Unit 1:2 exam today. Turn in ALL class acts and worksheets. Turn in Loteria sheet we did for 1:2 vocab as well.

Warm-ups are due tomorrow!

Homework: Text pg 66 Act 15 complete sentences.

Review for this Thursday's scantron exam on 1:2.

Do workbook pages 23-26

We did a listening activity from text book practicing "preterite" verbs.

Review irregular preterite. Pick up 2 worksheets to fill in. Yes you may write on these handouts.  All students were assigned a new vocab word to illustrate or use clip art. See me if you were absent to get your vocab word. Also, create a Bingo/Loteria chart to include any 16 vocab words on Food or Commenting on Food. Fold paper in 16 squares. Write 16 verbs in Spanish on one side and illustrate on back. See me for examples. Due Monday! Must be colored with color pencils or crayons.

This week's Warm-ups were collected for credit. Both of today's handouts were collected too.

Review new food vocab with irregular verbs like andar, poner, poder etc.

We corrected previous text book activities on board.

Warm up was only stamped if complete. 75% of your homework is incorrect, no stamp will be given. Work is the same as in the classroom. No new work is given therefore it should only be review and answers complete.

We reviewed preterite tense and how to make a more colorful sentence...how to create a C sentence to a A+ sentence.

Pick up new vocab list 1:2 on Commenting on Food, Art etc.

Please see me if you did not get a new vocab word assigned to you to illustrate on 8x10 cardboard...computer art is good too.

Complete text pg 62. Act.8 and workbook pg 23.

Make sure you get workbook stamped pg 13-20 for credit.

Finish workbook pgs 13-20 on preterite tense. We received stamps for these pages. Finish for homework and get stamps tomorrow.

We also went over A,B,C, D written exams on front board. How do I get a good grade, what do I need to change in order to improve on writing skills were discussed.

Today we did our written exam. See me to make this up ASAP at lunch.

Students turned in ALL textbook activities for Unit 1:1: Act.3,4,6,8,9, Preguntas Personales, 1,2,5,9,12,11,12,13 = 70 points

Students also started completing workbook pgs 11-20. We will continue to work on those pages next week too!
