Dear Parents and Students, 

I would like to welcome you to the summer Bridge to Algebra class that begins on Monday, June 22. I hope you have enjoyed your week off and are ready to prepare for your eighth grade year. Class will be held Monday - Friday from 8:20 am - 12:20 pm on Zoom. Attendance will be taken. I will also be using TEAMS, however, that is in the process of being set up. You will find my Week at a Glance and any worksheets on my Edlio page. Please do not print anything now. I will let you know what to print as we need it. You are welcome to print the Week at a Glance so you will have an idea of what we will cover next week. You will be given breaks, but you are expected to be online with me for the entire four hours. You must show your face at all times, unless we are on a break. All work will be completed during this time and there will not be homework.

The class will be structured in the following manner:
Notes, assignments, review the answers and go over questions, quizzes/tests, kahoot, desmos, and a few other activities.

We will be covering all of the chapters that the Math 7/8 accel students covered during the school year. I will be focusing most of our time on chapters 13,14, and 16 as those are most important for your success next year in Algebra.

Please bring a pencil, paper, and your book to class everyday. Be prepared to take notes and work on problems throughout our time together.
