Hi students!

I hope everyone is doing well and not freaking out. Here’s the plan.

Please access your Teams via your school Microsoft account.

For the next two weeks we will be reading various articles and answering questions. First we will be finishing the excerpts from Frederick Douglass’ autobiography. Some assignments are already posted under the “Assignments” tab in advance. I have included due dates for those assignments. Please make sure your work is submitted by 3:00 on the due date for credit. This is a new way for me to use Teams, so please let me know if it’s not working quite right.

I will be checking the “Posts” tab daily and doing my best to respond to questions throughout the day. I will try to be live on Posts from 9-11am each day. Please remember to be respectful and appropriate with your use of Teams. It is a school account and you can and will be held accountable for using it inappropriately. Please do not post gifs, stickers, etc. Only post questions or discussion points. You may chat me privately also, if you need to.

This is new for all of us, so if there are glitches or problems with how things are assigned or set up, let me know and I’ll figure it out. Thank you for your flexibility.
